Clay Craft Mug..new shape ???
This looks like a CC glaze and handle? Went looking in the gallery and couldn't find the shape?

Re: Clay Craft Mug..new shape ???
Mike, doesn't look like CC to me yet.
First thoughts were Kermiko, some of those strange glazes they did, but the belly doesn't look round enough.
Shape looks like Stewart, but then again it looks a bit short.
Could you take another photo full profile to reduce foreshortening please, preferably handle to right.

Yes I think the shape looks like Stewart but shorter. It has the heavier stoneware feel of Kermiko. The Stewart mugs I have are much lighter than this.

Re: Clay Craft Mug..new shape ???
Yes.
I really think that glaze is pretty typical of the different Kermiko ones and so I'm sticking to my initial opinion.
I think I am being tricked with the shape because the base of the mug is picking up a reflection from your bench and creating an illusory hard line in the photo.
I'll see if I can find my other funny Kermikos.
Thinking of these ones.
I tried to look through the camera roll for some profile pics for better comparison but I have over 5000 un sorted photos and it got real tedious. I guess I could take a new photo.

Re: Clay Craft Mug..new shape ???
I see what you mean by the funny Kermiko glazes. I had forgotten about those. That line in my photo is there as the mug shape turns from concave to convex. It is not a hard ridge though. No reflection in second photo as it is on a matt cardboard box. I will have a look at what Kermiko I have. It isnt the same shape as the white flower mugs etc. Quite a bit smaller as well at 82 mm tall. It has a nice foot ring.

I am currently researching Clay Craft in detail. I do not recognise Mike's mug in his initial post as Clay Craft.
