This was shown to me at the Going West Festival, to my shame I can't remember who owns it. They found it in a creek near where she potted. The assumption is that she discarded it because it has a flaw. Made on new years day 1941. Wow.

It has quite thin walls so I'm guessimg a mould, its warped & out of shape too. cat

 its badly cracked but its just possibly its the nicest Briar Gardner Vase ever
..lovely in lime greens. Cool

It's a nice piece for a Briar Gardner, nicely potted and glazed, and such a brilliant big clear mark too.
