Fleurette D750
Fleurette appears as D373 in the gallery.
These later pieces at auction are clearly D750:

Re: Fleurette D750
How interesting Jeremy. I have seen other patterns e.g. Autumn Splendour on different shaped ware like Apollo and it gets given a different number and I wonder if this is the case here? I notice that the cup and the front bowl have a different backstamp to the more recent d750 pieces.
Re: Fleurette D750
Also note that the later stamp does not have the words "hand painted", even though the pieces shown have enough differences to conclude that they actually are hand painted.
It makes you wonder what proportion of the so far unidentified patterns may be duplicates.
I hope this finds its way into your your database.

Re: Fleurette D750
Haha yes it went straight into the Database as I hadn't come across it before thanks Jeremy. Yes we have found a few patterns on different shapes with different numbers, but not copious amounts. I think of them as re-releases, like that Autumn Splendour which is d690 on the coupe shape and on Apollo became d51300 which has the much later 5 digits. Crown Lynn were very thorough like that, to keep track of everything I guess.

Also in the earlier days 750 was the number for "Fashion Rose"

Re: Fleurette D750
Indeed Janice, have you come across this Fleurette D750 in your travels Janice?
Can you tell what shape the bowls belong to?

Re: Fleurette D750
I have never seen that 750 number before, it looks modern - I wondered if it because the one we all know was Fleurette - Brereton Ware and the 750 isn't?
By the Way... Where did the number 373 come from? as its not on the back-stamp, of any I have got/seen.
Shape of bowl ummm... they look to be bigger in size - or is that the angle on the photo?
This TM listing has a saucer - interesting.....

Re: Fleurette D750
Hi there, I got the 373 from the Decoration Advices and I would say that as it is on the first page it should have Pat.No instead of the d which I put as I had no idea about such things early on Replacement China have this d750 listed, but they have sold now so no photo and Jonno mentioned this number in a post but didn't get a photo put on to show the pattern.
Re: Fleurette D750
Hi Ev..
I see it on the deco advice 373 - I will look out for that pattern more on TM/shops now. Interesting how they changed the backstamp.
Fleurette 373 was exclusive to DIC ltd and Milnes and Choice as per the stock-book from the museum.
So maybe Fleurette 750 was used again later for everywhere else?

Re: Fleurette D750
After a tip on facebook about Fleurette being made right up until they closed, I checked out Google and the Portage Museum and found that Fleurette was made from 1981 with the Phillipine Bell Cup 3056 and the Classique 3081 cup from 1982. So these will have the dinner sets that match these cups in the Fleurette pattern.

Could this be the longest surviving pattern that Crown Lynn made?

Re: Fleurette D750
I have noticed a few different dates for the first use of the Fleurette pattern, the earliest being 1959 (can't remember where that was).
Are there any records to support that date.
It would mean the pattern was produced over four different decades.
I have one of the earlier bigger lightweight 781 tulips with more handle attachment and would love to get some idea for the dates of the cup and when it changed to the more familiar 781 shape.
There's some of the cups I'm talking about for sale here:

Re: Fleurette D750
According to Val Monk Fleurette was first released in 1962
http://valputaruru.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/hand-painted-production-line-style.html
So it was made for 27 years .....
The records that I have start from around 1964 and Fleurette is on the first page.

If I ever find that 1959 reference again I'll make a point of posting it.
