1327 Wine Cooler modellers drawing
In the records this has [Brickworks] in the description and all I can think of is this is made from the brick clay perhaps? First made 26.6.80

Arent they great! I have passed on copies to Jim for his 'Computer Book' (arch lever file) cant have too many eyes on the look out for these new shapes aye.

While at the Portage Museum today I found a reference to this earthenware Wine Cooler being made and fired at A B Pipes for Crown Lynn. AB Pipes were known as Amalgamated Brick and Pipes and were a division of the Empire.
This throws a new light onto all things made with Brick and Pipe clay in the Crown Lynn records. We will have to hunt down people who worked there for info on the so called Rhodes vases.
When did AB Pipes close? I feel like I've asked this question before ....
