Sterling backstamp

In the Museum notes there are a couple of breakfast cups

I have this this cup which I think could be the 750 shape - it has a sterling back stamp and then I saw a newspaper ad that advertises "sterling" breakfast cups- I thought I was "onto something"

Until.... the sterling back-stamp is different than the one we know. The cup is the same shape and size etc as other cups that I know are crown Lynn, so that part measures up.

I checked Google for any back-stamps that look the same as my cup, but could not see any.

The newspaper ads at the museum are not all crown Lynn, so maybe this was part of the market research?
What does the Jury say???

Looks like a 'new' old CL backstamp to me

I wonder what happened to my post from yesterday?
Anyway this looks very similar to the other Sterling backstamp and that advert confirms this to me.

Ohhhhh? Did you put the new/old Sterling backstamp in the gallery?

I didnt as I was unsure whether its crown lynn or not.. I can do it now :O)
