3059 Japanese Coffee Mug drawings perhaps?
These caught my attention and all I can see is the 3061 Classique cup.
I will try to do a comparison after I've posted pics of the several drawings.
Handle for Jap set at the top and an Aussie handle ...?

very close, but the handle on the left looks slightly curved in.
Is the brown card "cup flute angle" a template for the angle of the cup, ie will match up to a cup shape?
Whats the Aussie set?
So is the 3059 the same as 3061 with a slightly different handle?
so many questions... I so... want to see these pages of this book, its all very intriguing !

I agree with Janice. The cup shown in the drawing looks like the 3061 Classique cup with a slightly different handle.
Does it say on the drawing that this is the 3059 or is the word "Jap" and closeness of the Japanese mug in number to the Classique the connection?
Their numbers are two apart but dates are over four months.
I know Crown Lynn had its thing about putting mugs on saucers but even so, could this shape really be described as a MUG rather than a CUP?

There are very few numbers on the modellers drawings.
It was the word Jap that caught my eye, as there are not many words on these drawings other than technical drawing words.
So now we just have to find one of these Classique type cups/mugs with a slightly different handle so that it can be compared to the 3061.

I checked my cups that are this shape - all 6 of them ! all the handles are the same straight looking version. I will keep any eye out for these now in the op shops

Just thinking out loud here but this pattern is referred to as Jap & is in 'classique shape'..
makes me wonder what the cups are like?
