Ambrico (!!) five inch jug no number
I am assuming this is Ambrico. If not then I have just bought an old chipped jug.
I don't see it in the gallery. It has no mark so may be an early discontinued item.
5 inches high by five inches diameter at top.
It has the usual Ambrico straw body, clear glaze, fine crazing all over. Chips.

Re: Ambrico (!!) five inch jug no number
Moving this to the Is This Crown Lynn Gallery Jeremy as folk will think your assumption is true and until it has some sort of verification it could be made by any number of potteries.
Re: Ambrico (!!) five inch jug no number
Ev, a friend suggested coffee at the museum today so I had an opportunity to look at the pottery collections. I saw a few of my pieces there. Surprised to see my Narvik coffee pot, and a Forma pot with Bermuda transfers. And isn't that Wharetana mug huge!
Anyway ...
There is one of these earthenware jugs in the Ambrico collection: 1985.386. K4654. (I think that was 4654 rather than 4684 but my photo is blurred.)
I know the museum doesn't always get it right but I think we can trust them on this and move the topic back to, where was it: Crown Lynn history?
Later ...
I see it's done. Thanks Ev.
