Re: temuka figurines
Hi Maree, both of those pieces are highly collectable and it might pay you to take them to one of the well known Auction Houses to be valued, as I have only ever seen the odd one listed on Trademe and can't recall what they achieved.
Re: temuka figurines
Thank you for that info, but not sure if there are any good auction houses in Dunedin

Here is a link to Webbs Auction House in Auckland, send them an email and let them know that you live in Dunedin. Cheers and good luck.

You could also contact Haywards in Dunedin and add them to an Antiques and collectables auction on 24 September perhaps, but an indication of price to set your reserve would be advantageous first, I agree. http://www.haywards.co.nz

Thank you mum of 1 for taking time to reply. I did go to Haywards to see if they could give me any info, but the man in charge knew nothing about these items

Re: temuka figurines
Hi there, I asked one of our well known collectors to give a value for these figurines.
He replied saying that they have a value of around $800 each!!!!!
He also said that brown was the most common colour and to be careful as there are some very well made fakes out there of these ......????
