Very cute, modelled by Hemara, Stewart Pottery
Hemara and Frances Hemara have these in their china cabinet - but they can't remember who he modelled them for. A few days later I was SO happy to find two more.. different sizes. Small green version is 8 cm tall, larger brown is 11.5, and could possibly be used as a mug... something quirky to look out for at any rate.
EDIT these are Stewart, see bottom left hand corner of this catalogue. Also note the very interesting looking tiny animals next to them.

There is a similar smaller egg cup in Ev's Crown Lynn modeler drawings too.

Hey that's interesting... there was SO much copying ... or should we call that cross-fertilisation??
I wonder if there is an English egg cup that these are derived from.

Thanks Ev, it is beautifully made, but has no markings whatsoever - and yes, when I checked, it is a little larger than the others (12cm).Ev wrote:This looks like the female version nosmada.
