Thank you. Yes, It is backlit. I like to turn it on in the evening. The light brings out the colours even more.
We managed to purchase 3 of the cupboards cheap from a shop that closed down. They are perfect for keeping the collection on display and pretty much dust free without "cluttering" every available shelf in the house, Yet.
It was an "adventure" all right to transport and clean them but we got there in the end.

Updated shots. The dog, elephant, fish lamp on the top are not Titian or C/L. The two luster lamps look like they could be Aquila like the swan.

Thank you everyone!
Kat, The Kiwi measures 8cm. It is unmarked and I don't know who made it. Do you know who did?

Ev showed us these pics recently, does it look like the one in this drawing?
8cm sounds a bit small?

Hello Kat, It is not the one from the modelers book. The beak doesn't touch the base, there is no foliage connected to the beak and it is too small. I have got the one that might be the one from the drawing but it is not in the photographs.

This one is like the one from the modelers book made by tepuke ceramics.

There is also another Kiwi like the one above in my cupboard which has green leaf foliage that stands up at the front and is either made by My Lady or PSJ.

When you scroll down the page you see the similar Japanese kiwi.

I hope my one is NZ made.
