So Ambrico were exporting their wares as early as 1945 then.
I find this amazing as they hadn't been operating for that long, but here you are and check out the handles on those cups .....

23rd March 1945 - South Coast Times and Wollongong Argus

This is the first shipment from a world famous Empire Pottery just landed by Bebarfalds. Designed in a full size breakfast cup capacity, in maize-coloured high gloss glaze finish.
