I had to get this as I don't have any Teal pottery and all the pieces that I have seen have been very expensive.  This has on the base "Teal Ceramics Balcultha NZ", the base has the remains of a sticker on it and it was filled with teabags.....  
The cork has years of patina on it so I imagine that this was constantly used for a long time.

I think the above canister will be a 102 as the Portage Museum sent me these photos today of a 101 canister, which is smaller than my one and is only 80x65mm..
