Is this a crown lynn vase?
Hi I cant seem to add picture, but I have a vase that has the number 1360 underneath I was told it was crown lynn, the vase is in the shape of a shell with what looks like a pixie or little kid sitting in front on it, In side vase it has a aqua blue trickle glaze ...ANY ideas? or how can I add picture?

Hi there, you can email the site a photo and I will load it for you if you like -
newzealandpottery@gmail.com
It doesn't sound like anything Crown Lynn made though and the Crown Lynn 1360 is a lidded sugar bowl.

Re: Is this a crown lynn vase?
Hi there buggerluggs Welcome to our forum!
I am sure this is an English vase, as they commonly used 4 digit numbers on vases, especially it seems (to me anyway) on vases that did not have a company / maker stamp to identify them.
Here are a couple I found
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Very-unusual-Shorter-Son-Shell-Vase-with-kneeling-child-classical-style-S896-/111046095379
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Vintage-SHORTER-and-SONS-England-Quality-VASE-14cms-SHELL-and-Cherub-/351063064357
The first has a different number and the second mentions no number at all, but both are identical, or as close as I can see to your one.
Hope that helps!
