Temuka Spill Vase
I went to visit Thelma & her amazing collection last weekend..Yay!
I had no idea Temuka was so colourful! In her kitchen window there are 3 or 4 of this shape in different colours & sizes..they looked awesome togther, I wish I had taken a pic, maybe Thelma will read this & take some pics for us.
I only have a couple of pieces of Temuka.. this Spill Vase is one..I think thats the usual name for this shape. 15cmh

Re: Temuka Spill Vase
It was great to meet you Kat! Yes that spill vase in the picture is the same colour as my one. I also have a Riverstone one and the large one is from Timaru Pottery. The small ones are (ahem! ) Lovatts of England, as I wanted a couple of smaller spill vases and I have a feeling that one of the people associated with Temuka in the early days may have originated from Lovatts in England I suppose I should have shown Kat the log vases but they are a bit tricky to reach...
I will take a photo of that mug with the same glaze as the spill vase and see if anyone else thinks it might also be a Temuka one.
