Luke Adams 1082 in Basalt
Luke Adams 1082 in Basalt.
Another one to cross off the Luke Adams list. (The list has Lucow.)
Saw this in my travels, photos on the run. Sorry for poor quality.

Re: Luke Adams 1082 in Basalt
I just checked it out in the gallery. That is a big block of Basalt there.
And it would be even bigger if we had the 1043 and 1054 in the Luke Adams colours.
They look a bit more grown up and serious, more potter-y than the honey glaze castware. Is that a South Island thing?
We have quite a few items now in both Basalt and Lucow, but still no sign of Deco No - 123 Homestead?
That first page of castware earthenware appears to show a close relationship in time between establishing the four digit numbering system, which I understand was in 1964, and utilisation of the Luke Adams works, yet the earliest date I see on the Luke Adams list is 1968, a gap of four years.
There are only 26 item numbers issued over that four year period of which we have eight.

Re: Luke Adams 1082 in Basalt
Crown Lynn officially took over Luke Adams in March 1965.
The 10 items on the list that Luke Adams made pre 1968 don't have a year made recorded.
18th March 1964 is the first date in the records for anything made using four digits.
