Shape 1644 measuring cup
Its an odd shape and I think its a measuring cup? maybe 3/4 cup?
at least this is what my plastic measuring cups look like!
5cmh x 8.5d
PS Jeremy I spotted the Lucow colour first! ...probably wouldn't have looked at it otherwise.

Re: Shape 1644 measuring cup
I'm very proud of you for finding this by recognising the glaze Kat
The records say:
1644 - One Lugged Butter Dish [lmaoooo] First made in 1969
What a fantastic day it has been non-stop and the pottery groups books balanced as well. Awesome feeling of elation

Lucow
Well done Kat. It's nice to know that people are reading my posts, and taking it in.
Of course I'm feeling envious and possibly a little bit stupid if I walked past it today!
Now that the variations in the glaze are more apparent I suppose more will turn up.
It all seems to be from within a very short time period so far.
I watched the Osaka Expo cup and saucer on trademe and wanted it but obviously not enough to buy it. I think it went for $30. I'd like to see more of the Expo ware close up.
I have turned my Cleverley coffee shelf into a Lucow shelf now, except for the 1619,
which is with the teapots.
I've put a link to this on the Lucow topic:

Kat, you got me going on this again so also check out my comments on Ev's Ngakura topic, although I guess you'll be doing that anyway.
