Thanks to fi for sending this to the site and she added that this is a very unusual sized plate in the rimmed shape and she has only ever seen 4 or 5 in all of her days of collecting.  Fi picked up that there was a place for it to go in the Four Digit Gallery as there was a number missing between the 4043 - 7 inch rimmed plate and the 4045 - 9 inch rimmed plate which I think is extremely clever of her without the records!  Indeed she is correct as the 8 inch rimmed lunch plate is shape number 4044 !!
Thank you for your keen interest and your generosity fi cheers

Please note that we don't have the rimmed shape Blue Garland/Fantasy in the Gallery and it most likely has a different name and number.

8 inch Rimmed lunch plate from fi Empty the name..

It is possibly called Azure blue. The fact that Azure Pink has the colour included would make me assume there was another colour /s available....
Oh, and just to clarify - it is cobalt blue, not the same as Fantasy or Blue Garland which I think are more teal.
Very nice indeed! :-)

Hi Fi... This is a lovely example. You have me thinking now.. about the 3 different sizes. When I stacked up my pile of plates, some where bigger than others, so I sat them aside... Oh no... not another job to do LOL Razz
Luckily we collect "old stuff", and have a wooden rule with inches with is very helpful, than trying to convert the sizes from cm's...
