Fiesta Gaye trio
Hi all,
I found a very interesting trio recently and would love to share it here in case you didn't have the back stamp etc. I'm a complete klutz when it comes to photos, so it may I email it to some lovely person so that they can do it for me? LOL

Re: Fiesta Gaye trio
Thank you so much for sending these photos leish, as we don't have Fiesta Gaye on here! Such a vibrant pattern!! Val Monk says this was made in the late 1950's and 1960's.

Re: Fiesta Gaye trio
Thank you for putting on the photos! Isn't it just gorgeous?! I was very surprised to find it in those colours and not the blue/yellow/red/green pattern you see the Fiesta bowls etc in. The back stamp is also lovely and clear in gold. I'm not sure if I will keep it yet or let it find a new home.

Re: Fiesta Gaye trio
Gorgeous and rare. I had to borrow a plate to photograph for my book. And that was in the more common colours. Gail Henry tells us that Fiesta Ware came in various colour combinations and now we see that this range does too. Yum! Keep it... This is an on glaze decoration and most examples look a bit worn and battered. The way I see it, this set is museum material. I have also never seen the plain Fiesta Gaye mark without the Crown Lynn as on your cup and saucer. Yum again!

Re: Fiesta Gaye trio
It really is in amazing condition but for one sad thing - the cup does have a crack. Hard to see from the outside - it is facing the camera in the photo I took. But the saucer looks like it was made yesterday, and the side plate only has teensiest tiniest bit of very very clean crazing. None anywhere else. The colour bands are just about perfect! As is the back stamp.
If I were to decide to sell, any ideas on an appropriate ballpark figure? I know that is a really hard thing to estimate though...

Re: Fiesta Gaye trio
I have very reluctantly decided to let the lovely Fiesta Gaye trio find a new home.
I am at a loss as to what to make the starting bid/reserve on Trade Me.
Any ideas/suggestions would be gratefully received!
Thanks very much,
Leish.

I'm going to promote your auction as one may never see another like it.
It's an opportunity to have some real old Crown Lynn history!

Thank you so much Ev. It's a very reluctant sale but being a one income family with two young children means sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! Even if it makes you sad! Lol.
I'm sure it will go to a very loving home, and that is fabulous.
