I have no idea who they are, but this gives you a little more to think about.

Aotea NZ Bowl
Aotea NZ bowl with rim and footring
We joined a shared dinner for a new neighbour next door on Wednesday.
Tomas was not well and went home early so we took him home some pudding in one of Gay and Richard's bowls.
Richard says it was bought new, along with mugs, in Taihape fifteen or so years ago.
That might help in finding the pottery.
Large deep pudding or small salad serving bowl, would be great for Chinese food.
About 200 OD.

Re: Who signs their work Aotea NZ? Gavyn Singleton does.
There used to the Taihape gallery which sold pottery. I think they must have purchased to on sell. I have seen lots of different types of pottery with the Taihape Gallery sticker on the base but no makers mark as yet.
There have also been some little boutique shops and second hand shops that have sold pottery.
There is an Aotea Studio pottery established in 1981 based in Foxton. Aotea is a family business based in Foxton. Google says that they are the oldest established pottery still operating in New Zealand today. They design, manufacture and wholesale their pottery, ceramics and other products throughout New Zealand and export overseas; servicing Gift, Tourism and Garden Centre retailers
There is also a Bulls address 230 Pukehou Rd Bulls Rangitikei.
