Talll brown mug - D.A. Hillis Associates ANZR conference 1972 and the fabulous plate!
This mug is a full 17 cm tall. I can't see it in the shape guide - and I can't make out a number on the base. It has an odd little image on the base... of people with their arms out. It's hard to make out the words on mine, but I have found a printout of an old TradeMe listing for a similar mug which says that the base says "By Crown Lynn New Zealand Designer D.A Hillis Associates" The TradeMe mug has the more modern Railways logo on the side, and says it was to commemorated ANZR conferences in Wellington in 1972. ANZR stands for Australia and New Zealand Railways conference. Anyway - here's mine. I wonder if it was part of a set?

Hi Maryr, it is very similar to my one in this post http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3191-could-this-be-a-mark-cleverley-mug?highlight=cleverley except mine has a different glaze, and the base is not as clear.

There was a plate made for that Conference too and I thought we had it on the site, but I can't find it. You can see it on Google images if you search anzr+crown lynn

An ANZR plate has been listed for those that haven't seen one before. Rather unique and beautiful I say.
