unmarked Luke Adams mug--not 1040 but 1037!
The more expensive of my two single mug purchases today ($1)
unfortunately has a hairline crack.
It is unmarked but does have some irregularity in the base,
which could indicate a four digit number.
Slightly worn iridescent glaze over brown and black, and grooved modelling
like 1182 indicate possible origins at Luke Adams pottery.
90mm H x 75 OD at lip.
There are still some Luke Adams four digit numbers unaccounted for:
1037 - Coffee Mug
1039 - Coffee Mug
1040 - Coffee Mug Basalt
1043 - Coffee Mug Basalt
Time will tell.

And yesterday it did as Ev posted drawings of both 1037 and 1040 in the gallery.
It is a 1037.

Ev, I know what basalt glaze is now, and this is basalt.
The two basalt mugs left to identify from your list are 1040 and 1043.

These is already a 1043 shape in the gallery and this ain't it,
so for now I'm pegging this mug as "1040 - Coffee Mug Basalt".
And I'm moving it to that position on my four digit shelf.
It may of course be that one of the other two mugs, 1037 and 1039,
was also made in basalt but I'm guessing the notes would have said so.
