I bought this Erika Aupperle mug new from South Street Gallery (Nelson) last year. Low fire porcelain. It is in regular use. Unmarked.

As I was drinking a mug of tea yesterday afternoon I noticed a potter's mark I had not seen before. Located adjacent to the handle at the base, it takes the form of a simply incised A with the crossbar passing through the uprights.

Maybe we can replace this in the gallery when a better one turns up.
