... and bins!
As you can see I have a fair bit few cans and saucers.
Some of the saucers in the stacks are Rorstrand.
The Rorstrand cans are in a separate box, not shown.
At present one each of the hand-painted cans is on the purpose built shelf,
and one each of the transfer cans is displayed in a long line.
The plan so many years ago was to make up a six-set of each pattern.
I have that in each hand-painted but Fleurette.
I have transfer 6-sets in Athens, Tacoma, Bermuda, Saraband, Blue Sapphire, Image, Mogambo, and Form, possibly six Napoli cans but only one brown saucer. Oddments in the other patterns and colours.
I have a 6 of Rorstrand Tango, maybe Venezia and/or Curtis, oddments in others.
All-up maybe 1/2 cubic metre of cans and saucers.

a tick for the banana boxes too
Yeah ... well ... er ...
... the banana boxes are elsewhere, and I just can't get enough!
The banana box is probably one of humankind's greatest inventions.
Yes, you can't stack BBs easily when they're empty, but once they're full, if you have the lids, they are perfect.

Re: ... and bins!
I have a personal aversion to putting Crown Lynn into boxes. What is the point of having it, if it is packed away in the dark never to see the light of day. I guess my collection is just for research and I need to check things out regularly so they all stay out of the closet!
Re: ... and bins!
Oh to have a pottery studio!
I also have 300 odd pieces of glass (inherited) and 300 odd Holophane lamp shades (collected) so given my current shortage of display area the best I can do is rotate things.
Part of the fun of collecting is that when you start you may not be absolutely sure where it will take you. There is an element of chance. Especially when your prime source is op shops.
But point taken. I know I have way too much stuff.
Another part of collecting is being selective and moving things on.
I'm still working on that bit!

Re: ... and bins!
Wow Jeremy, what a collection! It is heartening to see I am not the only one with boxes of treasures everywhere. Even today i have come home with a CL egg cup,(lemon) two white forma cups to help complete my set, a Richmond stoneware jug that looked interesting and a little temuka jug in a colour I did not have. oh and a jam jar,(glass) I just cannot help it!

Re: ... and bins!
Glenys,
re your canister listing on trademe, I meant for you to correct it. You wrote "650mm".
I can't tell from the photo whether it is Rorstrand or CL, but supposing CL it depends on the back stamp.
A green backstamp, will read either Mogambo or Allegro.
If black then either "Viking", which takes coloured cans, if Athens then Athens cans, and if Cook & Serve, then transfer patterned cans Mogambo or Saraband, but also fine for Bermuda or Tacoma.
However, mix and match at will.

Re: ... and bins!
I didn't even look at the add, I just remeasured the pot!!!
Sorry and thanks.
The black saucer has MADE IN NEW ZEALAND on the back in black/grey colour. Nothing else.
I'm selling lots of stuff gradually at the moment, while we're stuck in Auckland. If you see anything you or someone you know would like please let me know. I just want them to go to good homes. I'm just flying kites with prices on T Me. So send me a message and make me an offer. Mostly domestic stuff I've picked up over the years and can no longer keep because I like the patern or I might find the whole set one day!!!
