John's Opshop Haul 31.03.09 includes Wembley Ware Seal ashtray -
Hi there these are some of the things I got yesterday from the op shops The pic with the book has a Putararu mug. Crown derby dish in box, Hornsea Teapot, Victorian bread dish with reg number on the back. The next pic has a C/lynn plate/brown jug/mug/straw coloured pot. White jug I am not sure about. Large beer jug is something to do with Hemara as he was just explaining about the type of glaze that is on it when he saw me last Sunday. Had a small beer mug with the same glaze on it on my table at market. The ashtray with sea lion I think is Titian. No markings at all though.

Great stuff John
Is that jug in the 2nd photo made by Stewart Potteries?
The little white vase in the front of the 2nd photo is a 134!
We don't have any of those plate patterns in the gallery - so yes please to photos... and the pattern names.

Titian ashtray???
Tony thinks that the ashtray is probably Wembly ware and looking at a couple that are on TM now I would agree with him. I will float it on TM and see what happens as there are no marks at all on the base. Thanks for the input Tony

Seal ashtray
A closed eBay auction 260356621479 , a closed TM auction 205350933 and the image on http://www.drakesbrookantique.com.au/wembley.htm suggest that Wembley made this shape in a range of colourways.
