John has one of these too....
My observations of Royal Oak Pottery made by Royal Oak is...... it is rather humdrum has the same distinctive flower pattern and glazing..... this delightful wee flower vase has to be made by someone other than Royal Oak!
Re: Magnolia Blossom Wall Vase made by Spartan Pottery
My notes say that Spartan supplied Royal Oak in the '40s...

Another photo of this puzzling vase courtesy of ynotbrich -

Oh yes Kat, this is such a teaser wall vase with it's Royal Oak stickers!
But who made it for Royal Oak?
It doesn't look like anything they would have made themselves.
I'm sure that they painted them the pretty colours though.
Could you ask Jim what his thoughts are please?

I thought it very light to hold & totally unmarked I assumed it was English.
P.S. he didn't buy it after all.

Re: Magnolia Blossom Wall Vase made by Spartan Pottery
Perhaps we should have an 'old' Royal Oak Gallery where they bought high fired blanks from many sources and decorated them and sold them on. Actually that has been suggested before, but I never followed it up due to lack of gallery space.
I wouldn't like to see this ware mixed up with their own pottery that they made and glazed in their own right, which I call their 'new' pottery.

Hopefully I will pick up all of the oddities when I search for photos.
Might not happen today as I'm supposed to be houseworking right now *coughs*

Hello, I found two Royal Oak stickered fish wall vases. One bigger than the other.
The bigger one is the same size as the Titian Studio fish wall vase.

You should be able to date this from when Titian was supplying Royal Oak.
It's in Gail Henry's book.
