This pattern shows up in adverts at the Museum Library from around 1965 and it looks like there are three shades of colour.  Hard to tell really in black and white ....
Anyway today I found a veru dark chocolate brown Coco oatmeal, at first glance I thought it was black -

hon-john sent us his photo which is in the Patterns Gallery and it looks like mushroom -
