EARTHQUAKE !!
O M G !!! At 2.31pm there was a massive earthquake at Seddon, which we felt here in Nelson. These don't usually worry me, and I just carry on while everyone else is under the table or in the doorway, but this one really scared me !! God bless anyone who has been affected. We are still feeling aftershocks and a house has collapsed here. I have to say that I am really scared and I know what the poor people in Christchurch must have felt like. Too scared to check the pottery, I might not like what I find.

Re: EARTHQUAKE !!
Oh no not again!! I heard the word earthquake on the radio coming home from work, but there was no reference as to where.
Please take care sunny and it doesn't really matter about the pottery as long as everyone is ok !!! <3

Re: EARTHQUAKE !!
Looks like the damage is fairly light in Wellington. Hopefully Simon Manchester's collection didn't take a haircut again.

Re: EARTHQUAKE !!
Hope the shaking stops for you soon. Just pack up anything breakable and precious pottery can sit in boxes for a while. I have to admit that some of my collectables are still wrapped up in boxes after 3 years, every time I think I might display them again I get cold feet!

Re: EARTHQUAKE !!
we just felt a massive earthquake at 3.37pm here, this was really awful !! Daughter ran to me and we stood in the doorway for a good minute while the shaking got worse, and then changed to a sway, and we struggled to keep our balance, hanging on to each other!
Apparently centred around Kaikoura and about 6.4 - I'm still shaking, and they usually don't scare me!
