Oh Gosh I need confirmation that this ashtray is indeed Titian, as it looks more like Wembley Ware to me HELP!
Titian A-10. Ashtray?
Would you like us to take more detailed pictures to help identify it better? If so, please let me know what needs to be done.

Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
It looks like there is a dash after the a. All of the other titian that are posted look like they have a dot after the letter - any thoughts?
Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
I just checked and it has a dash after the A and all the Titian that I have seen so far have had a dot too.

Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
mumof1 has pointed out to me that some of her Titian pieces have a dot after the letter and some have a dash after the letter. So there has to be another way of identifying this piece. I hope all of the Titian collectors are checking it out and can share their thoughts as dollcrown has done.
Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
Can I also note that some pieces do not have a dot before the letter(s), like the SV.201. http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3463-titian-sv-201-for-the-gallery?highlight=titian and the PV.110. http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3473-pv-110-rams-head-vase-in-stonehenge-glaze#11295

That is interesting. My SV.201. has both dots and also an insised capital M underneath the numbers.

Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
I just had a look on the Titian Studio Pottery New Zealand blog and he has posted a A-11 applied fantail ashtray which might be a Titian piece.
Has anyone got the small Swordfish ahtray with the A12 number that is mentioned on the blog and can post a picture of the base to compare?
I have got the big Swordfish ashtray but the number is .F.104. and our little trout ashtray is unnumbered so can't compare them.

Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
Hubby has taken a picture of both my Titian .A-12. ashtray that is also in the gallery and again of the .A-10. stag ashtray.
There is also a nice picture of the .A-11. very possible Titian fantail ashtray on the Titian blog.
http://titianpottery.blogspot.co.nz/2012/05/fantails-iconic-titian-motif.html
Now, either all three .A-10., .A-11. & .A-12. ashtrays are made by Titian or some other maker.
I looked up Wembley Ware and so far haven't found any matching ashtrays or makers marks that are similar. I also looked at Diana Australia without finding any either.
In Gail Henry's second edition NZ pottery book on page 158 there is a nice picture showing the Presley Ware collection show room. And I think I can see the A-12. marlin ashtray next to the bigger marlin on the right hand side.
Has anyone got the actual picture to have a closer look at the ashtray?
What do you all think?

Re: Titian A-10. Ashtray?
I checked out the photo in Gail Henry, plus the Fantail ashtray on the Titian Blog and you have convinced me that the stag ashtray is Titian haselnuss as the all have the A and a dash - then the number and a dot. I will add it to the Gallery. Thank you for persevering with this haselnuss

Manos also agreed that the stag ashtray was made by Titian.
