Steiner/Crown Lynn Gravy Boat and saucer !!!!
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=595366754
Ok so this gravy jug and saucer is part of the Modello range of Crown Lynn Tableware.
The Modello range included Milano, Nouveau, Florence, Verona, Trieste, Taranto and Venice.
The Gravy Boat is 1497 and the Gravy Boat Stand is 8055.
My guess is that Bob purchased either the bisqued ware or the mould for these when Crown Lynn closed down in 1989 and added the delightful colour and glaze.
His Eido mark is from the late 1980's when Sharon Maude was working with him.
Quite surprised to see this, but there could be others .... maybe many others...?

However this happened, it could be the same circumstances as the Catherine Anselmi pieces that are also stamped CL?

Yes indeed, though the Modello collection was still being made in 1988 - unlike the old chunky railway mug that Catherine decorated. So perhaps she got some old moulds ..?
