Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
It could well be right as I found another on Pinterest
http://www.pinterest.com/dawnweatherup/fine-china/
go to the third row, and we don't have this colour in that pattern.
I will wait for Janice to get her opinion before putting it into the Gallery.

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
ummm.. Interesting!
I have a Lucerne trio and the back stamp is the same as yours Kat & Co,
( BTW the Museum notes has D418 Lucerne no photo to compare though! )
Facts:-from time to time the back stamp did not match the pattern - for example I have a blue narvick pattern and the back stamp is the colour glaze stamp and another plate with 2 back-stamps apollo + kelston
Facts:- C/l did repeat patterns, so maybe they made a green version of blue bramble and called it Lucerne ? If I was to take bets I would go with that as the option
However I have nothing to back that up! I have looked through everything I had and can't answer one way or the other... Janice
Very cool pattern though!
Also this pattern is Casbah when on fluted plate in another colour again

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
There is a pattern called Lucerne on here already and how odd that the back stamp is the same as this one !!!!! I can't add links from my phone so just do a search to find it.

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
So.... your database has 2 Deco numbers, so that may confirm 2 different patterns ?

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
Uno is that pattern on the left called Lucerne?
The one that Kat posted is a different colour and the one I posted a while ago is a totally different pattern.
There is a pattern in your design on Apollo ware in green and it's called Casbah Green d103 and has a backstamp of Kelston Ceramics and has olive green Apollo cups.
We are still lost on this one aren't we ??

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
Hi Ev, yes the one on the left is Lucerne Kelston Potteries. Def a greeny/olive pattern similar to Kats dinner plate but could be my photography as I would have said it was the same as above?
That's one thing I love about Crown Lynn, so many variations.

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
I'm loathed to put it in the gallery until more come to light, because I've never seen two different patterns sharing the same backstamp. Sorry Uno I thought Kat's was a fawny colour, but they both appear to be that unusual green.
Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
?? maybe this one is correct & the other in Gallery is wrong..how may plates like blue pattern in gallery are marked Lucerne? just a thought.

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
Thanks to Tony for enlightening me to the Digital Library in OZ, I found an advert for LUCERNE from 17 March 1972. So this doubting game is over as it looked just like this Lucerne pattern This sort of thing makes my day

Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
The Lucerne pattern in question is Lucerne d418 and there is a photo to match it with, so I will add the number to the one in the Gallery
Re: Blue Bramble D.797 and Lucerne
Hahaa this time it's a Brown Bramble on the Forma shape .....
Do we have a name and number for this?
I will add it to the No Names Gallery for now under No-Name Brown Bramble

Brown Bramble pattern on an oval
I was having "yet another tidy up session" with the crown lynn plates.
I found this version of Brown Bramble, I say brown, its more of a dark fawn colour, rather than a true brown. I had forgotten that I had this
