http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=586490350
I thought I would like to see this bowl, (then I saw the price) but not that much! Anyone know about this Ritemp mixer? I did find this http://www.gettyimages.co.nz/detail/news-photo/the-english-electric-ritemp-cooker-and-the-english-electric-news-photo/2659201
and it looks like the same bowl

Wow that photo says 1955 !! How amazing that Tom Clark could sell pottery ware to England
New Ritemp mixing bowl and backstamp
I photographed this courtesy of Arkwrights in Dargaville. The bowl is a different shape from the classic beehive, and feels quite heavy. The backstamp was a bit fuzzy (and it's also a bit out of focus). Try this link for a rather outstanding 1951 advt for Ritemp products. http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/44558986

There was one of these for sale on TM, but I can't remember the price now, I know it was ridiculous, see this post http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3454-an-interesting-mixing-bowl-auction-for-an-english-cake-mixer
Apparently this bowl was made to go with the mixer, which was English!
I will put that backstamp in the gallery, thank you so much for sharing it Maryr, as it is a rare one

With my handy browser add-on, I can see that bowl went for $32

The bowl sold for $32...
AND I WAS THE WINNER!! yay! And how's this for a coincidence..... I have just this minute taken a photo for the website as last time I looked I couldn't see it. Was a very lucky find and it is in mint condition. Pure white inside and creamy white outside. I LOVE IT!!!!!

The bowl has a lovely cream-yellow coloured matte glaze on the exterior. The glaze marks very easily...
