Thanks Banker as I was going to ask if we could use your photos.
This will have a Forma cup to match I'm fairly certain .....
There are quite a few Forma colour glaze colours and I would like to see all of them on the site one day.

Of course you can take whatever you like photo wise, go for it. If you want bigger or better pics just email. :0)

And yes, Forma cup to match but I don't collect Forma. Oddly, a friend does and her saucer says Forma!

Hi - I am bankers friend that collects Forma, along with a whole mish-mash of other Crown Lynn!  =) I have two pink saucers in the Forma shape, one stamped 'Forma' and one stamped 'Colour Glaze". Interestingly, they are both an identical colour, the same as the lolly pink tulips etc that I have. I also have side plates that match which are stamped Colour Glaze. I adore the egg yolk yellow Forma and have just about managed to make up a whole six place setting. Yay! This site is fantastic - thanks so much for such an awesome resource for all of us CL nerds! =) Aleisha.

Post  Ev Sun 20 Oct - 13:46

Rummaging around Crown Lynn records today and this jumped out at me!
There was even an entry for 3027 Colour Glaze Cups [Forma] with glaze names:
Duck Egg
Ant Green [which I assume is Antique Green as I've seen this name before]
Pumpkin
White
These were made in the early to mid 1970's.

I used to have some Forma mid mauve... Not sure where it is. I might have given it to my purple-mad daughter. It's not quite purple, not quite mauve. I don't see a colour on that list that sounds like it. Ps Ev, one of our locals has a whole dinner set of yellow which she uses every day.... Carefully!

I don't think so Kat, but I don't have any records for that pattern. I think it would be specific to La Paloma. My plates is textured with such a wonderful pattern.

Forma Colour Glaze .... Empty forma colours

Post  JanPots Sun 19 Jun - 10:35

I am looking for something else... however scrolling through the photos from the Portage Museum. Re Forma colours,
Sahara matching with warm brown and Honey also talks of Rust matching with Roulette and Toledo pattern, duck egg with pumpkin and marigold matching with duck egg too . Further on in the photos Lilac colour and Antique Green is also matched with duck egg !!
The duck egg looks to be the green colour earlier in this thread ( like Egmont/novelle colour or a paler version?)
Focus and Tosca Pattern matches with Rustic Brown and Radiance matches with Honey & brown.
Filigree with Chocolate accessories

Yes I've addressed these glaze colours ...... somewhere
The Duck Egg looks to me like an off white/pale, pale lemon. Like a duck egg Wink
I could be wrong as I haven't come across it yet.
We don't have anything on the site in that colour as far as I'm aware.
I don't think it's the same as the Oyster that goes with Egmont.
I have identified the Antique Green .... somewhere.
I really enjoy seeing photos of what Crown Lynn matched up with what pattern!

Just need to see it written in the records Kat.

Now on closer inspection there is a slight fleck in this glaze, but it doesn't show up in the photo. However Rust is showing up loud and proud and now that can be added to the Forma Colour Glaze colours.

What do you think guys? I will also ask Tom Clark Jnr on Facebook for his thoughts.

This pale yellow lid was with a mushroom colour sugar base, and the rust lid was also on a mushroom base ...?

Yes Rust cups and accessories go with Roulette [forma] and Toledo.

I've enhanced the pic and it's more true to colour .... maybe I should do that with the pale yellow?

Forma Colour Glaze .... Colour10

Nope as the pale lemon looks more wishy washy enhanced ..

This Forma Lilac set has the elusive Duck Egg saucer. They describe it as the saucer is a light khaki green - similar to a paler version of Crown Lynn's Egmont green.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/pottery-glass/porcelain-pottery/crown-lynn/cups-saucers/auction-1111990996.htm

It sounds a lot like the saucer that you have Janice .....?
