I have been seeing lots of Ashley pots for sale around Dunedin. They are really nice, well made attractive pieces. We don't seen to know a great deal about this pottery so I thought I'd share them with you.
Hope someone can tell us more about the people.  Very Happy June Ashley Potteries marks Ashley10June Ashley Potteries marks Ashley11June Ashley Potteries marks Ashley12[img]https://i.servimg.com/u/f71/17/76/06/92/ashley13.jpg[/img<a href=[/img]June Ashley Potteries marks Ashley14]" />

I often admire Ashley pottery as it's so well made and stands out saying 'look at me ... touch me'. We have one of their marks .. see here http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t2576-ashley-pottery?highlight=ashley
but we don't have the stamp or the script mark .... thank you Smile

Not long ago mumof1 posted a piece by The Cargo Studio run by Jim Roberts and David Ashley and now I'm wondering if David Ashley is Ashley Potteries as it's not a very common name ... ?

OOOOoooo yes, nice. I saw some more like mine in a shop yesterday with a note saying they were Hanmer - Yeah right. I couldn't get to see the owner to suggest the note might be wrong! Very Happy

I came across this lovely garlic pot in an op shop today that has a good clear sticker and mark on it.
I'm sad I leftist behind now.
