A couple more finds at a boot sale today.  The dark brown cup has the usual Made in New Zealand and the saucers just have Genuine Ironstone New Zealand.  The jug and bowl are a brown/grey colour, both have New Zealand on the base and the jug has the number 6013.  That's a shape number, right?

Yes you are correct that is a shape number on the jug.
I'm not sure if we have that pattern in the Gallery, but will check it out.
The jug and the cup look like colour glaze to me, but maybe someone else can fill you in.
I just found the most amazing charcoal colour glaze Forma bowls and those last two reminded me of them.

Thanks Ev. I would like to keep an eye out for any cups/saucers that go with the jug and bowl. The glaze on them isn't shiny, it is like a matt finish. They are odd-bods as all the others I have found this week have a shiny glaze.

I had a look in the gallery for the pattern on the saucers but couldn't find it.

Can't find your pretty saucers pattern in the Gallery, so will add it into the No Names Gallery.
Not sure which of the matt glazed ware your pieces are from.
Pine, Echo and Palm Springs come to mind ....... but there will be others ?

I thought maybe I just couldn't see it. That's exciting - finding something nobody knows the name of Smile

These saucers are the same pattern as "Glendale " but look to be more brown in colour than the Khaki Green of Glendale.... Would that be the case?

In the patterns book in the index under the letter G - There is mention of a Glendale D397  and Glendale Green D399 and Glendale D182 which is another pattern again using the same name!! http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t4202-glendale-d182?highlight=glendale
Have a look what Ev found months ago on this thread....
