I have a serving bowl and plate of this design, but cannot for the life of me read the backstamp, other than to see that it has a crown, then underneath Crown Lynn forma. It's the bit under that I cannot read.

Hi there, I believe this is called "Tosca" but I don't know the number, I have had it in the past with the name on but not at the moment.
Cheers, marl

Bless you Marl, as this pattern only rings vague bells for me.
The Database has two listings for Tosca - d702 and d927
so we will have to wait for confirmation as to which one it is.
I will put it into the Gallery without it's d number though .... thank you Thelma Smile

Post  Guest Sun 10 Apr - 4:39

Yes, it is Crown Lynn Forma.

I just inherited a set and am looking for soup and dessert bowls. Gee just saw the picture of the 927, that is not mine. Have to keep searching for the right pattern name now.

Just noticed in the Database Tosca d702 hasn't been ticked off the list.
I am going with the dark brown with flower outlines to be this pattern that David Jenkin designed, as we had the name, but not the number cheers
