Banker's stunning pink collection cabinet ...
Photo and info courtesy of Banker.
A cabinet housing some of my pink collection. All stamped Colour Glaze, Capri, Caribbean Ware or South Pacific. Except for the Forma sugar bowl! All cups stamped NZ. Beehive stamped Crown Lynn. Swans stamped with Crown Lynn marks. Jugs all marked New Zealand 1621, 710-00 and 710-01 (except the big plum one which just has 715.0 New Zealand). Yes, the 5.5cm jug on the left is lemon.

Yes, that came out a lot better. Shame the others can't go! My cabinet is too small to fit everything (I have some in my kitchen etc) so I change the cabinet round every now and then (and ensure only undamaged stuff without crazing etc is in there) but in this case there are only minor differences between the three piccies.

Dear Banker - I admire your touch when it comes to displaying your beloved pink ware and it's like a story seeing how it's evolving. Please let me keep your story going .... ?
For example .... today there are no pretty jugs ... aha but another swan has appeared

Well, that is because I am constantly swapping, selling etc to get other bits I want/need (swapping is the BEST). I actually have quite a few 4.5cm and 5.5cm hotel shape jugs and have decided I prefer them. They are on top of another cabinet as they couldn't all fit together on this one and one of my friends (a fellow collector) said it might topple over it was so full. But I love the cabinet so I won't buy another. I rearrange for balance mainly. Not everything is in there but sometimes I feel like changing things around. I personally think that Crown Lynn is so fab that you can't help but change mix it up, change it around etc.
You have a good eye there Ev, but you missed a few things... the salad bowl in the back corner has been added, the salt shakers and saucer taken away. The cup in the bottom is in the kitchen. The egg cup is in another place because I have a tulip one coming for where it was. Also making room for another five saucers! Love.

"Have changed the cabinet again! Ha ha!
I can't fit any more in there so the rest is in the kitchen!"

OK, I know I am a complete pain, but I think I have finally balanced out the cabinet (I have put a few more bits in, moved it around a bit and now I am going to leave it as it is). Have put the rest of my pink with other colours in another cabinet.

I managed to have a rejig of this cabinet and squeezed more in!
The rest is in the kitchen etc. But I think it looks okay.
It is so interesting to see some more Forma shapes appearing in pink

Goodness, that picture comes out better on your website than it looked on my computer.
Sadly, the cabinet will fall over if anything else is added so the rest stays in the kitchen. Although, I could squeeze in an egg cup if someone found one. Just one! LOL.
Those are the only two Forma pink pieces I have as I find the colour is usually different (slightly). My friend Ben sent the jug to me and I am amazed that the colour of it is just the same as the rest of my stuff. The cup is too.
