Shape 21 with inscribed 15.11.45
Here's today's purchase from the Wentworth Park Collectables fair - first with a few cousins:

Is it just me or is there a picture of two swans kissing on its front in the two top pictures?

I think you could be right!!
It's interesting that the colours are quite camouflage given the 1945 date..I was interested to see the similar glaze vase beside it. Is it a number 1 and does it have a number inscribed on the base?

That's a great point about the camouflage. I hadn't thought about that. Some of the surplus US Army bowls that had running glaze effects applied to them look similar. That camo look is very popular on clothes now.
The other vase looks a lot like your 1. It has the circular Made in NZ stamp but if it had inscribed marks they're not visible through a thick colourless glaze.

I think mine is Salisbury with the Ambrico blank and yours will be Ambrico made and decorated..You too have a number one Tony.
