Gosh I had a look at that and didn't notice it was earthenware!!
How extremely odd as white clay and earthenware clay fire at different temperatures.
That could be a tin type glaze too, which covers earthenware very well.
I wonder if it was made after Crown Lynn closed and moulds were sold or disappeared?
