I've never seen the likes lolzzz
Titian did some odd handles on Toby jugs didn't they?
Titian is a brand Crown Lynn used, along side quite a number of other marks that aren't Crown Lynn in apperance but are Crown Lynn in manufacture.

JP wrote:From my years talking with my grandmother Olive Hale on this, both jugs she considered to be Crown Lynn. I have the Santa one somewhere and will dig it out to see what markings mine has.
Further to this, in my digging today Titian was a trademark used by Crown Lynn, addign to the evidence that the Santa mugs are Crown Lynn.
Looking through the posts of marks the number with a "." at the end is reflective of Crown Lynn marking of the time.

Is the Santa Claus Crown Lynn
It seems this is a long standing debate and one that hasn't been solved.
From my grandmother Olive Hale's notes on this one, "This jug was difficult to reconcile as Crown Lynn as its quality was not equal to their other work but could still be crossmatch by crockery colours and impression number as Crown Lynn."
It is a bit of a mystery, at the same time not an unusual one for Crown Lynn.
Crown Lynn purchased Titian at some point, and they used Titian as a production facility from then on.
Additionally many "pottery houses" purchased biscuit stock from Crown Lynn and glazed them in their own way. Making much of the interestingly marked items Crown Lynn in manufacture but not necessarily in glazing.
Also too the pattern numbering from Crown Lynn while intended to be xxx. sometimes missed the dot and sometimes missed the number too...
Not to mention that some stuff had labels for stamps that dropped off or wore off making it harder still to identify.
