Gorgeous Golden Forma Frisco 473 and Focus 701
1 have 7 plates and 5 luncheon plates in this pattern with no back marking at all. I have 2 desert bowls and 2 saucers (+cups) with a backstamp that doesn't identify the pattern. This pattern has been mentioned elsewhere on this forum as 'Frisco' and the pattern is certainly the same although the ones I can find on the forum are brown on the plate not golden. Is this a colour variation of 'Frisco'? The photos have loaded a bit dark. The colour is a bright honey gold.

This pattern did show up one day from Marl, but it was never resolved so hopefully your post will jog somone's memory.
Here is the initial post - http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t1512-radiance
Just love all of your fabulous pics Glenys You have a lot of great stuff to share!

Frisco or Radiance
I looked at Marl's blog. I think her plates are Radiance and they are not the same as mine. I think her saucers are Frisco and are the same as mine. My plates and saucers are all the same pattern. I'd go for Friso in a different colour.
I have very little CL really. Just pieces that have appealed to me over a long time. Usually from op shops before they realised they could charge more and from the occasional market.

Re: Gorgeous Golden Forma Frisco 473 and Focus 701
Marl found this listing with the backstamp Frisco d473 which is the same colour as your Frisco.

Not sure about the dark brown Frisco pattern name and number now and will have to investigate when I get a chance!

I've never seen the dark Frisco. I think it might be rarer than the golden one. (If it is called frisco that is!)

Re: Gorgeous Golden Forma Frisco 473 and Focus 701
Hi Ev, my husband has just reminded me that some time ago we had a brown Frisco patterned bowl which actually had a Frisco backstamp. That was where we got the name from but can't remember the number. cheers Marl

Thanks Marl, it will turn up one day I'm sure of it
Re: Gorgeous Golden Forma
Have been watching this subject with interest and wonder if the attached photos may help. Sadly no names or numbers on the only two pieces I have a Saucer and a side plate. Clearly in the same colour balance there are two different patterns. [

I'm sure the zigzag one is Frisco and the other is Radiance. The colours are identical though. I have seen both. There was a brown Frisco on trade me earlier this week, I'll check if it is still there. It said it was Frisco but didn't give a number. No I've checked, there are only 2 gold Frisco plates, Buy now $22!

Frisco 473 and Focus 701
At last an advert for the darker version of Frisco and they call it Focus.
The Database has a Focus 701 that we don't have, so we will go with that.
Sometimes it takes a long, long time to solve puzzles .... Many thanks to Te Toi Uku.
I can't find a photo to add to the Gallery, so will have to take one as I have a few pieces.
