Echo CL d168 & Penzance KC d232
Picked up Penzance d232 on Apollo with Honey base glaze yesterday for my collection
and realised that the design is actually Echo in a different colourway. Thought it worth reporting.

Well done Jonno
I hadn't picked up on that one, probably because I don't have any Penzance.
It looks quite different, but is basically the same

Thanks for the compliment Ev but it was a bit of a fluke as my wife was reading a 2008 House & Garden and pointed out an article on Crown Lynn which included a picture of Echo so as soon as picked up the Penzance plate my brain said that looks familiar grabbed the mag and bingo.

Weeeeee that is different. It can go into the No Names Gallery until we find a name
Re: Echo CL d168 & Penzance KC d232
I read the other day that Mark Cleverley's original design of Echo was in black on grey in the Design Awards, but I can't find it now.
I'm going to give this pattern the title of Echo Original Design Award entry by Mark Cleverley and put it into the Gallery.
I know I will fall over that comment when I'm not looking, though it could be in Val's book that I saw it.

Its such a 'Negative' pattern like newsprint..it looks odd with colour around it.
