They are real great finds haselnuss. I know how much work goes into searching for these gold nuggets on Trademe. They are few and far between. The vases are in a stunning deco too - classic 1950s colours.

Here is another recent auction that makes one think one should spend even more time looking through the listings.

Holy Moly, that was a very, very lucky day for the purchaser!

But it does take a lot of time and also knowledge to find these bargains on Trade Me or in second hand shops and sometimes one can end up with the odd Hobby Ceramics or Made In Taiwan piece too.

I love the excitement of finding and identifying a piece that hasn't been advertised as obvious C/L or Titian.

They have resurfaced with a different permutation of the spelling

Yes and that is Gail Henry's spelling. I saw it as nick is one of my favourite sellers, though his knowledge leaves a lot to be desired. So many collectors have already found it, so it should do really well.
