Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Ok all of you Autumn Splendour collectors ... I need your help.
Looking for these shapes that we don't have in the Shapes Gallery ... yet -
789 - Covered Scollop Base
708 - Covered Scollop Lid [I have no idea what a Scollop lidded dish is!]
741/10 - Oval Meat Platter
772 - Fruit Dish [Omg we have a mug as a 772 ???]
847 - Butter Pad
I got these shapes from a 1966 Price List for Autumn Splendour that is on the Portage Ceramics Trust site. Other popular patterns from that time will also have the same shapes, eg. Fashion Rose, Golden Fall to name a couple.

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Hi Ev, feels like I haven't been here in ages. Still haven't moved (so many dramas) but will check my stash when I do finally move. Hopefully 2 more weeks.
I miss my Crown Lynn, it doesn't feel right to have them boxed up.

Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
So nice to see you DaSiEm
I think I will split this topic as I already have a problem with the eggcup shape.
I wonder how the butter pat differs from other ones too? Size perhaps?

Fantastic thanks Marl
I see shapes in that lot that I haven't even seen or heard about before !!
Yes some of those are ones that are in the list at the top .... just have to take some care with them though, will try to find measurements to confirm.

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Glad you like them Ev, one thing missing is a teapot. I know there is one because I just missed out on it at a garage sale several years ago, never seen one since! I think I sent a pic of my napkin rings in Autumn Splendour a long time ago, let me know if you want it again. Cheers, marl

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Have been busy finding info on these shapes and found the measurements for the Oval Bakers, with 12 inches being the largest - 30.5cm, medium 26.5cm and small 23.5.
The ramekin is the 868 shape .... it does have a lid.
The 712 eggcup is the shape of the Golden Fall one of Tony's above.
I will use the smaller big oval plate for the Oval Meat Plate 741/10 ... even though the 10 should stand for 10 inches ..... which is about 25.5cm ... hmmm
There is a casserole in the price list photo -
http://www.nzmuseums.co.nz/account/3384/object/2306/Price_list_-_1966
But we don't have a photo of one of those ..... yet.
mrnarna has a 772 Fruit Dish in one of his photos ...... but he is off somewhere taking awesome photos and is totally focusing on doing a marvellous job at that.
I'm investigating the Carpay 772 cup shape ........arghhhhh
The other shapes that Marl has posted will have to wait until we get lucky, which we do on a regular basis
Thanks again Marl, a big help once again

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Isn't the casserole in the price list the same as the one on the right of my photo, only with a lid. I have just measured its volume and it holds 4 pints exactly. Can send a separate pic of it if you want. The smaller of the 2 ovals is 11 and a quarter inches by 8 inches. cheers, marl

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Great spotting Marl !!
Yes please to a photo and then I can use it for both of the sizes.
I did that with your bakers as they are the same shape.
Making some progress here that's for sure

Re: Looking for Autumn Splendour Shapes ..
Indeed!!! I've never seen the likes of it !
1239 is a Truncated Cone Coffee Pot first made in 1977 and I think I can just see the 1 before the 239..... can you?
The unusual lid is number 1240.
There is a matching Gravy Boat, and Salt and Pepper .... ?
A great piece DaSiEm

I did think that there was a '1' there, but my sister and I couldn't agree.
I promise to announce here first should I ever give up this piece Marl. First dibs as it were. Do yu have a photo of your coffee pot?
