op shop finds today
I feel quite chuffed to bring home today some gems, two CL fiesta coupe bowls in good condition, a temuka shiny brown glazed mug of the sort we use here all the time, a temuka hand-painted large pizza plate from the 80s, a CL dinner plate to replace the one from my everyday set that broke a few months back and an orzel barrel-shaped coffee mug of amazing weight that must surely be capable of surviving anything, with the words wet your whistle embossed on the side, all for the princely sum of $2.
oh, almost forgot, and a chocolate brown colourglaze pin dish.

Haha, I agree about the Orzel mug, I got it for novelty value only, it is quite, hmmm, ugly! (Can I say that here?) What colour is your one Ev? Mine is the classic honey brown glaze on the bottom, with the top and inside of the mug glazed in a thick blue streaky colour. Also at the same place I got the mug from were a couple more fiesta pieces, a large soup(?) bowl and a dinner plate, but they were badly stained brown under the glaze from heat. I do not know of any way of getting rid of that!

Re: op shop finds today
My mug is a that pretty green that they used with a white contrast glaze at the top.
It doesn't whistle very well either .... yes it is a novel piece though.
What a shame about the Fiesta pieces!! They must have been put in the oven for some reason and the earthenware clay used for normal tableware isn't meant to go into the oven. There is nothing that I know of that will remove the discolouration.
