Re: Lynda Lines ?? No, Lorraine Long
Any chance of a photo of the pot please?
As Lynda doesn't ever remember putting a ring around her mark.

Thanks for that, just shows you how wrong you can be sometimes. I have had other pieces with the same potters mark also. Perhaps I will move them on to finance some of my CL collecting, even though I do rather like them.

Re: Lynda Lines ?? No, Lorraine Long
HOORAY !! This has taken me all day, but I have had it confirmed from 2 different sources, that these were made by Lorraine Long. She had a pottery in the Tasman Village, here in Nelson, which is now a gallery. One lady has an egg separator similar to the attached photo, which she has used for 30 years. Lorraine is no longer potting, and was not traceable for a reunion of The Potters Patch in Motueka a little while ago. This is all I have been able to gather, but 2 sources with the same name, and the fact that I have found several of her pieces seals it for me. I will move her mark from the mystery gallery to the marks gallery, once other admins are happy for me to do so.
