Thanks to seeing a set of this pattern still with the original box which had the pattern name on it at Southern Traders, I was delighted to find a bowl the other day.
Darn camera wouldn't pick up the bright green colour of the daisies and grass .... Neutral
Instead it showed up as a definite brown! Tried enhancing the photo, but wasn't very successful blah! It's always greens and blues that bother me on this digital camera!

Hi Ev,
Does this look more like the original? I see a splah of light near the bottom of the plate and suspect that ir came from your flash?. Kathy d494 Screen10

That is more like it Jonno! Perhaps it's a bit brighter than in real life though...
I didn't use the flash - the reflection is from the nova roof in my studio.
Actually the light was very poor this morning when I took the pic and this always gives me problems regarding true colour.
Thanks for your help Smile

OK no flash but can I suggest a white colour flouro bulb the highest wattage you can find equivalent to 100-150 watts when you need to take photos with light such as this
morning or at night, should help .

Also do you need any of my jug photos for your gallery collection ? seem to be unable to reach post that I was looking at before prior to marl sending all her Autumn Splendour down wind.

Thanks for that Jonno, as I need help like that and will try it when the light bothers me. I just checked your jug list and the only one that we don't have now is the 6042.

Hiya Ev.
Wow..how " bright green" is your bowl.
I mean., what other pattern uses the same green. Im curious 😊
Its a good job, that i didnt see the full dinner set as I would have had to buy it hahaha.
Anyways
I have an oyster version, BB plate
I looked up my notes and I have 2 records. Kathy Gold and Kathy Oyster. Duh...forgot to check the pattern numbers.

Hi Janice, it appears that there is
Kathy d494 [which looked Green as a dinnerset, my bowl is greeny]
Kathy Oyster d494 has Oyster 3019 cups
Kathy Gold d494 [doesn't show a cup colour, but I guess it will be yellow]

Hope that helps Smile
