Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
I knew this looked familiar, but I had a funny feeling mine was pink, and so it is... different shape too.
So whether the gold one is "Dubarry Gold" or whether mine is a later revival of the earlier pattern (that pink looks very eighties to me) I have no idea!

Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
Thanks Cat
Another pattern for the Gallery thank you so much!
Checked the Database and the only Dubarry is Dubarry Pink d24080...
Checked Google and only Dubarry Pink, so perhaps the other colours have a totally different pattern name?

That would fit with "Dubarry Pink" being a recycling of the older pattern then!

Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
Definitely, as the 5 digit pattern numbers didn't appear until near the end of Crown Lynn's journey. Good thinking !!
Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
was just looking in the un-named patterns and noticed the no name "far out retro pattern" looks like it could be a dark brown version of this pattern - but pic is too small for me to tell for sure... do you have the larger version of that pic to compare?
eta - D'oh, just reread the first post in this thread re marl posting this pattern in dark brown...

I think I found this pattern today, but as there are no pics showing and the one in the gallery is so small I'm not sure *cries*

Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
If its without the white rim, it would be the clover gold, I would say from the musuem notes.... Nice find !
With the white rim, guessing? durbarry gold? , but I would say being the more modern shape the number would be on the back?
You have found some good stuff lately!! Not much in the Waikato - although I did find a blue gingham dinner plate, the other day. Not the best example but still usable - It has a mark on it, looks like a burn mark, if that makes sense.

Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
All over pattern on the coupe shape and I'm sure it's already in the gallery and I paid $4 for it for nothing. I'm never going to be able to stop work at this rate. Heh
Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
I know the feeling keep buying when I say I should stop.. I just pressed the "buy now button again!! " (number 51 jug) ...
Do you buy stuff when you think its not in the gallery?

Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
*cries* I watched a 51 for ages $5 start but as I'd spent too much I left it and I already have two. As I couldn't remember the name of this one I couldn't check if we had it or not.
Re: Clover Gold d368 from JanPots - plus Dubarry Pink
Just had to post my Clover Gold bowl .... even though I reckon that every time I post a pic another old photo disappears!
It has this Kelston Ceramics backstamp and we should be able to date this pattern using that stamp!
