I just love this unmarked beautiful cup!! This was made by Ian Firth
Perhaps it would have had a saucer to match at one time.
It has been created with such care and is so light and yet strong.
The detail on the handle top where it attaches to the cup is awesome!
The high fired stoneware reduced glazing is magnificent.
My gut feeling is that a female made this, as my little finger fits the grooves on the handle ..... maybe... or maybe not if they used a tool instead of a finger.
Wish I knew who made it ..... !
