Always enjoy going to the Auckland Museum Library .....
yeah I know, I'm a geek geek
But yesterday the highlight of my day was seeing a guy bring his laptop into the Reading Room, where he spent many hours typing hand written letters onto his beautiful little slim line lappy!! I couldn't wait to ask about the 'Laptop Policy' and found that anyone can bring one in - power points are available - and they have FREE Wi Fi !!!!!! What more could one ask for?
Can't wait to go again now, as drawing little crude pics of designs and trying to write brief descriptions of them is a hard way to go about the idenfication of patterns!!!
Oh I forgot to ask what the row of computers along one wall were for ..... as they weren't there last time I went.
I have so many bits and pieces that I found to add to topics ..... may take a while!!

excellent - I think one of the libraries in Akld has microform readers that are web enabled so you can email scans to yourself from the library which sounds great
