Another find today, i forgot to put it up before. Can't say I have ever seen this shaped bowl before. It is serving size, 22.5x7.5cm and is in the "Sundowner" type of pattern. Cheers, marl

Re: Shape 5022 for the gallery
I'm really not sure if the four digit numbers starting with 5 or a 6 were made at Titian Potteries ?
The 5 denotes 'Basin jigger ware'. Which was probably made at Crown Lynn?
That backstamp looks like what I think is from the Avondale Selection range ....?
Won't know until I get hold of the Museum notes to confirm this.
But will add this to the CL made at Titian Gallery for now.

Re: Shape 5022 for the gallery
Thanks Jonno,
I'm not sure if it's Titian though, as it has the basin jigger ware number which start with 5. Also that stamp reminds me of the Avondale Selection .....?
I must start a topic for these jiggered wares so they have somewhere to go into!

re Bowl 5022 for the Titian Gallery
I agree that the stamp looks Avondale or Kelston rather than Titian now that you mention it. I was just guessing Titian made for CL. because of the high number and the soft medium sheen glaze.
Thought I had a mug in a similar speckled body but can't find it. Blah!

Re: Shape 5022 for the gallery
Just moving things around and see that Marl has posted this 5022 bowl and thinks it is from the Sunseeker range. It looks like a salad bowl that goes with a tableware line..
re Bowl 5022 for the Titian Gallery
Thanks for that info Ev.
I missed the earlier post somehow when I searched before buying my bowl but no sweat as I like it and only paid $3.00.
I see you now have a new group for these larger jiggered or similar items. there is another already posted , 5621 a Pioneer style casserole 17mm dia.with the C&S bs.

Re: Shape 5022 for the gallery
Alas the search function on the site does not find numbers, which is very frustrating at times. As I come across this type of ware, I will pop them into the jiggered etc topic.
